Where this comes from

Panels and hubs made sense. Then wireless grew up.

When wireless couldn't be trusted, centralizing the intelligence in a box was the responsible answer, and the legacy providers built it well. That era simply ended. Matter and Thread give every light a reliable voice of its own, so Wr3n builds for the world we have now: the intelligence lives at the edge, no hub, no panels, no single system brain to fail.

A new era is taking flight…

The architecture

Three modules. One system.

The 3 in Wr3n is the whole system architecture.
3 parts · 3 roles · 3 specs

01 · at the power

Power Intelligence Module

Location agnostic

Driver = Smart Matter Light. Centralized enclosures or at every fixture. Intelligence at the power.

02 · on the wall

On-Wall Module

Unbound aesthetics

The face: touch, buttons, or screen. Endless styles with a tap. It disappears into the wall.

03 · in the wall

In-Wall Module

Intelligent throughout

The brain: Matter node, Thread border router, diagnostic halo, one-tap setup. Works hub-less.

Distributed intelligence

The intelligence never centralizes.

Every light is its own node, over Matter and Thread. Lose any one and the rest keep working. No hub. No central panel. No single point of failure. Centralize the power if you want; the intelligence stays at the edge.

Open by design

Built on Matter and Thread.

The open standard, so Wr3n works with the ecosystem you already trust. Your phone, your voice, direct to the light. Use Wr3n-touch where you want, and keep your Lutron, Crestron, Savant, or any other legacy provider keypads everywhere else.

Backwards compatible by design. BYOB, bring your own buttons: a Wr3n module behind the keypad you already own, so the legacy it replaces gets retrofitted rather than ripped out.

On the roadmap

No new app needed

Assistant Ready

Wr3n presents every fixture as a standard dimmable light over Matter, so it shows up in the home app and voice assistant you already have. A tile, a slider, or a word.

For integrators & specifiers

Spec Wr3n.

Spec-grade, UL-listed power, drop-in at the fixture or centralized in one enclosure. No proprietary hub to sell against. A system your clients keep, and you service in seconds.
